IMT Dubai signed a MoU with the Arizona State University (ASU), USA, on broad ranging bi-lateral collaborations in Business Management Education.
This tie-up is aligned to IMT Dubai’s continuing focus on innovation in management education. It provides IMT Dubai students with an international experience enabling them to deal with the shifting dynamics of globalization and increased competitiveness. IMT Dubai international exchange programs and collaborations with some of the best foreign institutions of the world makes IMT- Dubai stand apart from other universities in the UAE.
Students at IMT Dubai will now have direct access to some of the world’s best Masters programs, especially in the domains of Business and Decision Analytics, Sustainable Systems, Environmental Management and Resource Management.
Under the terms of the agreement with Arizona State University, MBA students at IMT Dubai can study at ASU for a year and also acquire an MSc degree from ASU. Undergraduate students at IMT Dubai will now have the opportunity to complete 3 of the 4 years in Dubai, the final year undergraduate at ASU and then complete a Masters at ASU by doing just an additional year.
Dr. Ajay Vinze, Earl and Gladys Davis Distinguished Professor of Business and the Associate Dean of International Programs at W. P. Carey School of Business, and the Vice Provost of Arizona State University, said, “Arizona State University ranks fifth on a list of the top universities favored by employers for producing the best-qualified graduates, according to a survey conducted by The Wall Street Journal.The W. The Agreements were signed by Dr. Ajay Vinze on behalf of ASU and Dr. Janakiraman Moorthy – Director from IMT Dubai in the presence of Dr. Cedwyn Fernandes CEO IMT-Dubai and Dr. Dr. Eric Van Genderen – Associate Dean IMT Dubai.
