Dr. K S Sujit is Associate Professor of Economics at IMT- Dubai. He holds a PhD in Economics from Hyderabad University, India. His PhD thesis was on delineating the various liberalization polices that affect particular industries and to assess their impact on these industries keeping in view the broad objectives that these polices seek to achieve. Before joining IMT Dubai he was a faculty member at ICFAI Business School Hyderabad, India and Haramaya University, Ethiopia. He has more than 12 years of experience in teaching and research. Dr. Sujit has published research papers in various journals and has edited a book on international trade. His areas of interest include Macroeconomic research & Industrial economics.

My research interest is mainly on industry analysis with focus on inter-industry variations in R&D and Advertisement and its impact on firm’s performance. Other areas include time series studies on Stock market integration and service quality analysis.

Over last twelve years my teaching has been in the areas of economics and trade. I have offered courses on Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Economics of Business, International Business Strategy, Managerial economics, International trade and finance.
