Dr.ArunPrasad is Associate Professor of Human Resource Management at IMT Dubai. He received his PhD in the area of “Strategic Human Resource Management & Organizational Learning” from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India. His research interests are Human Resource Development, Strategic HRM, Organizational learning, Competence based HRM, International HRM and PerformanceManagement.
He was a full time faculty at VGSOM, IIT Kharagpur and also served at the capacity of Visiting/Guest Faculty Positions at IIT Madras, XLRI-AIMS (Dubai), IMT Dubai and BIM (India).
He has rich corporate experience in Human Resource Management & Organizational Development Domain, worked in Europe, US, Middle East & India. Companies includes Landmark Group (Middle East), EDS, MphasiS (an HP company) as HRBP (EMEA Region) based out of Netherlands, Deloitte Touche and Tohmatsu & Bank of America. He held lead positions spanning across Total Rewards, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HRIS, HR Business Partnering & HR Operations domain.His consulting assignments are in the area of Organization Development Interventions/Change Management, HR Practice Integration during M&A, Organization Restructuring, Total Rewards, Compensation Benchmarking, Talent Management and Competency Assessment Centers catering to clientele base from Manufacturing, Retail, Dairy, IT /ITES & Banking Sectors.
Also, specializing in Executive Education programs that caters to Middle and Senior level executives/managers in the area of Leadership (Situational Leadership), Management Bundle and niche HR programs like Compensation Benchmarking & HR Transformation ( HRBP) He holds professional certifications like “Certified Compensation & Benefits Manager”, awarded by CAMI, USA and “Situational Leadership II”, certification by The Ken Blanchard companies. To his research publication credit, published research papers in international peer-reviewed journals and presented papers in reputed international conferences. He is also in the Editorial board of select International Journals.
Research interests are in the area of Strategic Human Resource Management (Talent Management / Total Rewards / International HRM / Performance Management / HR Scorecard). Additional research interests are in the area of Knowledge Management, Learning Management & Leadership.
