Various student committees are formed each year in the beginning to groom the leaders of tomorrow and enable students to develop their leadership skills.

Corporate Club

The corporate club provides a vital link between IMT and the companies that are active in UAE, the neighbouring GCC countries, as well as in India. This club promotes lively interactions in the annual forum known as the "IMT Knowledge Festival". This forum brings together the members of the business community to share their experiences with the students. This student-managed conference is a much-anticipated annual event that brings together a diverse group of professionals, academic and student delegates from industry, public sector and business schools. The Knowledge Festival is a forum to exchange ideas on important business trends.

The recently held ‘Media Meets MBAs’ showed how strong and cordial IMT’s relations are with some of the big names in the industry.And this is just one of the many events that are organized every semester so as to provide sufficient exposure to students on where the industries for different sectors are moving as time elapses.

Extra Curricular Activities

The extra-curricular club strives to render the IMT campus livelier and more interactive. This club is where the most energetic students devote their energies to organizing social and cultural events to round out the student life on campus. This club’s members think out of the box to make the campus as vibrant as possible, and who knows, perhaps find a career option that combines corporate and cultural aspects.

Athletics

The Greek philosopher Aristotle emphasized “Menssana in corporate sanem” when recommending that his students exercise daily to help their physical abilities develop along with their mental facilities. In keeping with this doctrine, IMT-Dubai campus is equipped with sports facilities including football,badminton, tennis,and volleyball.

Cultural Events

Students are encouraged to engage in cultural activities. The presence of other universities in close proximity in Academic City provides students with a host of cultural activities including concerts, theater, music and cinema. Within IMT-Dubai, students are encouraged to organize screenings, festivals, seminars, exhibitions and other eventsfor which a budget is available. The Office of Student Services coordinates these varied activities.

The Office of Student Services provides nonacademic support and assistance to students to help them integrate into the IMT Dubai community. The office also provides advice for personal development and services such as housing, student activities and sports activities. Personal counselling is also provided by qualified professionals.

IMT’s own ‘Vaudeville’,which it conducts every academic year,is a grand platform for students to participate not only in cultural activities, but in academic events as well-so as to provide all its students with the essential avenues to prove their mettle.
